Editorial Policy

At SaaS CRM Review, our goal is to help readers make confident software decisions through clear, accurate, and independent reviews of CRM software, SaaS platforms, and AI tools. This Editorial Policy explains how we create content, keep it trustworthy, and handle commercial relationships.

Owned and maintained by Macedona, founder and lead reviewer. Last reviewed: [March 2026].

Editorial Independence

SaaS CRM Review is editorially independent, and our content is created to serve readers first. We do not allow advertisers, sponsors, or affiliate partners to dictate:

  • What we publish
  • How we score or rank products
  • Our conclusions, pros and cons, or recommendations
  • Which competitors are mentioned or excluded

No commercial relationship changes our editorial process.

How We Choose What to Cover

We select tools and topics based on reader demand and search intent, relevance to small businesses, startups, and teams, product category importance across CRM, SaaS, and AI tools, feature maturity and real-world use cases, and meaningful updates such as pricing changes or major product shifts. We may prioritize products with a clear market presence, meaningful differentiation, or that buyers frequently compare.

Content Standards

Every review aims to be accurate and based on verifiable information; practical and written for real workflows; balanced, stating both strengths and limitations; clear, without jargon or misleading claims; and current, updated when major changes occur. We avoid exaggerated language such as “perfect,” “guaranteed,” or “best for everyone.”

How We Review: Two Methods, Always Labeled

We do not imply first-hand experience with every tool we cover. Each article states, near the top, which of these two methods produced it:

Hands-on tested

Evaluated inside a real account, on a free plan, trial, or paid subscription, covering setup, core workflows, usability, pricing limits, integrations, and support quality.

Documentation-based

Built from official documentation, pricing pages, release notes and changelogs, and publicly available feature information, with no claim of first-hand use.

In both cases, we do not publish claims that cannot be reasonably supported, and pricing is checked against official sources with the check date shown. The full process is on our Review Methodology page.

Rankings and “Best” Lists

When we publish “Best” lists or category roundups, we apply consistent criteria such as best fit for a specific audience, feature coverage and workflow quality, pricing and value at relevant team sizes, ease of implementation, and integrations and scalability. “Best” never means a tool is right for everyone; we provide “best for” picks so readers can choose based on their own needs. Rankings reflect current analysis at the time of the last update, not a permanent verdict.

Affiliate Disclosure and Monetization

SaaS CRM Review may earn commissions through affiliate links. This supports the site and never increases the price you pay. Affiliate relationships do not influence rankings, review outcomes, product selection for comparisons, or editorial conclusions. When a page includes affiliate links, it carries a clear disclosure. For details, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Sponsored Content

If we ever publish sponsored content, we will clearly label it as Sponsored, separate it from editorial rankings and conclusions, and maintain honest commentary. Sponsored content does not guarantee positive coverage.

Free Products, Trials, and Vendor Access

We may access software through free plans, trials, demos, or vendor-provided access. Regardless of access type, our editorial standards stay the same. Receiving access does not guarantee coverage, a positive review, or a higher ranking. Every tool is evaluated against the same framework.

Corrections, Updates, and Feedback

We take accuracy seriously. If we discover an error, or a reader reports one, we verify the claim, correct the content, and update the “last updated” date when the change is significant. Corrections that affect a score or ranking are noted in the article.

To report an error or outdated information, email founder@saascrmreview.com or use our contact page. We aim to verify and respond within 3 business days.

Conflicts of Interest

We avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise trust. We do not accept arrangements that require a guaranteed rating or outcome, blocking competitor mentions, removing legitimate negatives, or publishing misleading claims. Where a potential conflict exists, we prioritize transparency and reader value.
