Dynamics 365 Sales costs $65 per user per month on Sales Professional, $105 on Sales Enterprise and $150 on Sales Premium, paid yearly in US dollars. Microsoft Relationship Sales is listed as Variable in Microsoft’s Licensing Guide, with a 10-seat minimum and pricing from a Dynamics 365 sales specialist.

This Dynamics 365 Sales pricing guide turns those seat prices into a yearly budget for 5 to 25 users and shows where licensing rules and Copilot Credits change the bill.

Dynamics 365 Sales Plans Explained

Sales Professional is core sales force automation capped at 15 custom tables per app. Sales Enterprise adds custom apps, forecasting, Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales and a capped slice of Sales Insights. Sales Premium adds full Sales Insights and 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month.

Every plan includes the mobile app, Microsoft 365 interoperation, and reporting and dashboards, so none of those is a reason to upgrade. My Dynamics 365 Sales review judges how the features work in daily selling.

Sales Professional ($65 per user per month)

Sales Professional fits a team with a standard pipeline of leads, opportunities, quotes, orders and invoices that needs no custom apps. Its users can create up to 15 custom tables per application and work only in the Sales Professional app, not the Sales Hub app.

Professional users can still run the prebuilt Sales agents, but every agent action draws on Copilot Credits bought separately. I would upgrade at the 16th custom table, or when managers ask for forecasting, sales goals or territory management, which start on Enterprise.

Sales Enterprise ($105 per user per month)

The $105 – $65 = $40 step buys customization without the 15-table cap, custom apps, forecasting, territory management and Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales. Copilot drafts email replies, summarizes leads, opportunities and meetings, and takes questions in natural-language chat.

Enterprise also carries a capped slice of Sales Insights: unlimited conversation intelligence, plus Sales Accelerator and predictive scoring for up to 1,500 records each per environment per month. Unused capacity rolls over for up to 12 months.

That cap is per environment, so a 25-seat team shares the same 1,500 scored records as a 5-seat team. Business Card Reader stops at 10 scans per user per month. For a team that chose Dynamics 365 to shape the CRM around its process, Enterprise is the plan I would budget for.

Sales Premium ($150 per user per month)

The $150 – $105 = $45 step pays off only when a team runs Sales agents and uses full Sales Insights. Premium includes 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month, AI-powered data enrichment, predictive forecasting, notes analysis and who knows whom, and raises Business Card Reader to 200 scans per user per month.

Data enrichment itself consumes Copilot Credits when it matches conversations to opportunities and suggests CRM updates, so part of the allowance goes to Premium’s own features. Premium’s plan card has a contact button and no Buy now button, so a Premium purchase starts with Microsoft or a partner.

Microsoft Relationship Sales (quote only)

Microsoft Relationship Sales bundles Sales Enterprise with LinkedIn Sales Navigator Advanced Plus, priced by quote with a 10-license minimum kept through the agreement term. Dynamics 365 agents are not included, though Sales Insights can be added.

Ask for a quote only if most sellers already prospect in Sales Navigator: with 10 licenses as the floor, a 6-person team pays for 4 seats nobody uses.

How Dynamics 365 Sales Licensing Works: Base, Attach and Light-User Licenses

Every full user needs one base license, the highest-priced Dynamics 365 app they use. Extra apps for that user come as cheaper attach licenses, and light users can take a Team Members license.

The Product Terms for Dynamics 365 set a 10-license minimum for Microsoft Relationship Sales, and academic buyers need at least 20 licenses of Sales Professional, Sales Enterprise or the other listed apps. Sales Enterprise can also be licensed per device for a shared machine; ask Microsoft or a partner for the Sales Device price.

Base vs attach licenses

A user who needs Sales and another Dynamics 365 app pays full price for the higher-priced app and an attach price for the other. Base and attach licenses have the same core capabilities and differ only in price.

The Licensing Guide prints a Sales attach price as an exception: a user whose base is Business Central Premium at $110 adds Sales Enterprise for $20 per user per month, billed annually, so $110 + $20 = $130 a month. Price any other Sales combination with Microsoft or your partner.

Team Members access

Managers or occasional users who only read data, update their own contacts, activities and notes, and use reports and dashboards do not need a full Sales seat. The Team Members license grants read-only access to all Dynamics 365 data plus those own-record rights.

The rights cover the user’s own work only, so a manager cannot act for direct reports. Team Members also requires the purchase of a Dynamics 365 user license other than Team Members; ask Microsoft or a partner for its price.

Mixing Professional and Enterprise

Half the team can sit on Professional only in a separate instance: the Product Terms allow both licenses when each runs in its own instance and users reach only the instance they are licensed for.

The Licensing Guide adds that Professional cannot share an environment with Enterprise, Premium or Sales Insights. A team working one shared pipeline therefore picks one edition for it.

Does Dynamics 365 Sales Have a Free Trial?

Yes: Dynamics 365 Sales has a 30-day free trial on Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 trial page, and all four plans in the Licensing Guide are paid.

Use the 30 days to settle what decides the plan: whether 15 custom tables cover your data model, whether managers need forecasting, and which agent tasks you would switch on, since each draws Copilot Credits.

Monthly vs Annual Dynamics 365 Sales Billing

The Dynamics 365 Sales list prices are per user per month, billed annually; a monthly subscription term is offered through Microsoft Partners, Microsoft Sales and Microsoft Online, and its rate comes from Microsoft or a partner.

PlanAnnual billingAnnual total per userMonthly subscription term
Sales Professional$65 per user per month$65 x 12 = $780Ask Microsoft or a partner for the rate
Sales Enterprise$105 per user per month$105 x 12 = $1,260Ask Microsoft or a partner for the rate
Sales Premium$150 per user per month$150 x 12 = $1,800Ask Microsoft or a partner for the rate

Budget every seat at the annual list price x 12 months unless a quote gives you a monthly-term rate; capacity licenses such as extra storage also carry a one-year minimum commitment. Ask Microsoft for cancellation, refund and renewal terms in writing before you sign.

Copilot Studio’s pre-purchase plan saves up to 20% when Copilot Credit Commit Units are bought up front.

Copilot Credits and Sales Agent Costs

Dynamics 365 Sales agents run on Copilot Credits. Sales Premium includes 1,000 per user per month in its annually billed seat, while Sales Professional and Sales Enterprise buy them separately, from $200 a month for a 25,000-credit pack or through a pay-as-you-go meter.

The prebuilt agents are the Sales Qualification, Sales Opportunity and Sales Research agents, with the Sales Close Agent in preview. Microsoft publishes no fixed credit cost per task: the credits charged depend on the complexity of each response or action.

Copilot Studio sells credits three ways:

  • Credit pack: $200 per pack per month for 25,000 Copilot Credits, paid up front.
  • Pay-as-you-go meter: billed at the end of the monthly period for the credits used, with no up-front commitment; it needs an Azure subscription.
  • Pre-purchase plan: prepaid Copilot Credit Commit Units at a discount for buying up front.

Take 25 sellers who need agents. On Premium, 25 x 1,000 = 25,000 credits a month come with $150 x 25 = $3,750 a month in seats, billed annually. On Enterprise, the same credits are one pack: $105 x 25 = $2,625 plus $200 x 1 = $200, which is $2,825 a month.

Credits alone never justify Premium at that size. Premium earns its price only when the team also uses full Sales Insights, data enrichment and the larger card-scan allowance.

Pricing note

Sales Professional and Sales Enterprise users can use the prebuilt Sales agents, but the credits that run them are sold separately. Budget a credit pack or the meter from the day you switch agents on.

Additional Dynamics 365 Sales Costs to Consider

Copilot Credits beyond the Premium allowance, extra Dataverse storage, standalone Power Platform licenses, Sales Insights capacity, Professional Direct Support and partner implementation are bought on top of the seat price. The seat already includes default Dataverse capacity, Standard Support and, on Premium, 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month.

Custom apps that extend Dynamics 365 Sales sit inside the Enterprise seat; a separate Power Apps license comes in only when the app runs outside the licensed Sales application.

Storage matters sooner on Professional: its 30 GB Dataverse database does not grow with seats. Enterprise starts at 30 GB and adds 250 MB per user; Premium starts at 45 GB and adds 500 MB per user.

How Much Does Dynamics 365 Sales Cost for Your Team?

At list price, Dynamics 365 Sales costs from $65 x 5 x 12 = $3,900 a year for 5 Professional users to $150 x 25 x 12 = $45,000 for 25 Premium users, before credits, storage and tax.

Which Dynamics 365 Sales Plan Should You Choose?

Choose Sales Professional for a simple pipeline, Sales Enterprise for customization and Copilot in Sales, and Sales Premium only when agents and full Sales Insights run every day.

From 5 sellers, the last row costs less than Premium. At 5 seats, Enterprise is $105 x 5 = $525 plus $200 x 1 = $200, which is $725 a month, against $150 x 5 = $750 on Premium, seats billed annually.

At 4 seats, Premium’s $150 x 4 = $600 undercuts Enterprise’s $105 x 4 = $420 plus $200 x 1 = $200, which is $620 a month. It brings only 4 x 1,000 = 4,000 credits a month, though, against the pack’s 25,000.

Is Dynamics 365 Sales Worth the Price?

Dynamics 365 Sales is worth $105 per user per month, paid yearly, for a team already on Microsoft 365 that needs customization and Copilot inside the CRM. Enterprise adds custom apps, forecasting and Copilot in Sales and in Outlook for $105 – $65 = $40 more per user per month than Professional.

Skip it if:
you want a monthly-term price without a quote (the list prices are billed annually), you need a free plan rather than a 30-day trial, or your sellers rarely work in Outlook and Teams, where Enterprise adds its Copilot capabilities.

How the Dynamics 365 Sales Prices Were Verified

Every price here comes from Microsoft’s own pages, read on October 27, 2026 from a US session. They are the Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide (October 2026), the Dynamics 365 Sales plan cards, the Product Terms, the trial page, the Copilot Studio pricing page and the Power Platform licensing overview.

All amounts are US list prices in USD on annual billing. Team totals are my calculations, list price x users x 12 months, and are estimates rather than quotes; the plan picks and the worth-it verdict are my judgment.

The Licensing Guide lists Relationship Sales as Variable, so ask a Dynamics 365 sales specialist for its price. Ask Microsoft or a partner for a quote on a monthly term, Team Members, extra storage, Sales Insights capacity and Professional Direct Support before you set the budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dynamics 365 Sales the same as Dynamics 365 CRM?

Not quite. Dynamics 365 Sales is the sales app among Microsoft’s CRM apps, and Customer Service, Contact Center, Field Service and Customer Insights are separate Dynamics 365 apps with their own licenses. My guide to what CRM software is explains the wider category.

Do all Dynamics 365 Sales users need the same license?

No. Light users can take Team Members instead of a full seat, and a Business Central Premium user can add Sales Enterprise as a $20 attach license. Professional and Enterprise users can coexist only if each group works in its own instance.

Final Pricing Verdict

Sales Enterprise at $105 per user per month, paid yearly, is the plan I would budget for most teams that have already chosen Dynamics 365: it is the first tier with custom apps, forecasting and Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales.

Stay on Sales Professional while 15 custom tables per app cover your process. Move to Sales Premium only when agents run daily and the team will use full Sales Insights, since for 25 sellers Enterprise plus one $200 pack buys the same 25,000 credits.
