For most solo advisors and small agencies, the right travel agency CRM is an advisor platform: TravelJoy for a solo budget, Tern once commissions need reconciling, Travefy when itineraries win the sale. A general CRM such as Zoho CRM fits only if someone will build trip records into it.
The 11 picks are ranked for US advisors and agencies on one question: do trips, payments and commissions sit on the client record? I built the ranking from each vendor’s pricing and product pages, read on October 27, 2026, and the cost table shows each pick’s yearly bill by team size.
Quick verdict
TravelJoy is my pick for a solo advisor: Starter costs $19 a month, and Pro lifts its 12-trip yearly cap.
Tern is the pick for agencies of 3+ seats that reconcile supplier commissions, Travefy for advisors who sell with itineraries, and Zoho CRM Standard for a general CRM you customize, with a Free edition for 3 users.
The trade-off: advisor platforms hold trips and payments (Tern and Travefy add commissions), while general CRMs win on channels and automation but leave the trip records to you.

Travel-Specific CRM or General CRM: What Each Kind Gives Up
An advisor platform puts trips on the client record. A general CRM gives you pipelines and channels, but none of the eight general pricing pages I read lists an itinerary builder or commission ledger.
- Advisor platforms (Tern, Travefy, TravelJoy): itineraries, payments and card authorizations, with commissions on Tern and Travefy. You give up breadth: Tern’s pricing page lists no WhatsApp channel, and TravelJoy keeps Zapier and SMS for Premium.
- General CRMs (the other eight picks): pipelines, automation and channels, such as WhatsApp on Kommo or 500+ integrations on Pipedrive. You give up ready-made trip records.
If your agency sells like any other small business, my list of CRMs for small businesses covers the general field.
How I Chose These Travel Agency CRMs
Every pick had to pass two must-haves: client records tied to trips or deals, and a published US price or free plan. I then ranked on seven criteria, in order: travel workflow on the client record, commission tracking, traveler forms, follow-up automation, yearly cost, inquiry channels, and agency reporting on advisor performance.
| CRM | Commissions | Follow-up automation | Agency reporting | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tern | Reconciliation on Agencies | Not listed | Not listed | Agency-wide on Agencies |
| Travefy | Tracking on Core | Automations on Core | Not listed | Commission and revenue on Agency |
| TravelJoy | Not listed | Automations on Pro | Not listed | Not listed |
| Zoho CRM | Not listed | Workflows on Free | Not listed | Dashboards on Standard |
| HubSpot | Not listed | Workflows on Starter | Not listed | Dashboards on Free |
| Kommo | Not listed | Pipeline automation on Advanced | From Base | Analytics on Pro |
| monday CRM | Not listed | Custom automations on Standard | Not listed | Dashboards on Basic |
| Pipedrive | Not listed | Automations on Growth | Not listed | Forecast reports on Growth |
| Freshsales | Not listed | Basic workflows on Growth | Not listed | Forecasting on Enterprise |
| Bitrix24 | Not listed | Sales automation on Professional | Integration on Basic | Analytics on Professional |
| Salesforce Sales Cloud | Not listed | Sales flows on Starter Suite | Not listed | Forecasting on Pro Suite |
Sources: the pricing pages linked under the comparison table, checked October 2026. “Not listed” means the pricing page does not name it.
Commission tracking ranks second, which is why Travefy, with commission tracking on Core, sits above TravelJoy, whose pricing page lists none.
1. Tern: Best for Agencies That Reconcile Supplier Commissions

- Starting price: $35 per seat a month billed annually, $49 billed monthly
- Free plan or trial: free trial; Tern does not state its length
- Standout feature: commission reconciliation on agency plans (3+ seats)
Tern is built around the step most CRMs skip: getting from a booking to a reconciled commission. Agency plans of 3+ seats add commission reconciliation, supplier payment management and agency-wide reporting to the itineraries, CRM and client forms every plan carries. The trade-off is a per-seat bill and AI usage limits.
Reconciliation replaces the spreadsheet where supplier statements meet bookings; Travefy’s pages list no supplier-statement reconciliation. Tern pitches its agency tools as real-time visibility into bookings, commissions and advisor performance. Its advisor mobile app is in open beta on iPhone and Android.
Tern for Agencies (3-24 advisors) is $25 per seat a month billed annually, so five advisors pay $25 x 5 x 12 = $1,500 a year for the plan with commission tools.

- Tern for Advisors (1-2 advisors): $35/seat/mo billed annually, $49 billed monthly
- Tern for Agencies (3-24 advisors): $25 billed annually, $28 quarterly, $33 monthly per seat/mo
Sources: Tern pricing, Tern homepage, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Commission reconciliation and supplier payments on agency plans
- Itineraries, card authorization and client forms on every plan
- Hotel bookings with guaranteed agency commission, opt-in per agency
Cons
- No commission reconciliation for one or two advisors
- Included AI usage limits since July 1, 2026
- No WhatsApp channel on the pricing page
- Skip it if:
- you work alone and book fewer than a dozen trips a year: TravelJoy Starter costs $19 a month.
2. Travefy: Best for Itinerary- and Proposal-Led Advisors

- Starting price: Core at $39 a month, billed annually
- Free plan or trial: 10-day trial, no card
- Standout feature: itinerary and proposal builder tied to CRM forms and invoices
Travefy is the pick when the itinerary is your sales pitch. Core bundles the itinerary and proposal builder with a CRM, forms and automations, invoicing and commission tracking, and a website builder. The trade-off: commissions are entered from invoices, and Travefy’s pages list no reconciliation against supplier statements.

The CRM’s forms cover a travel sale’s paperwork: credit card authorizations, passport collection stored in Travefy, and e-signatures. One click fills a commission from an invoice into a dashboard of pending, received and overdue payments. Core also includes mobile apps.
Travefy’s pricing FAQ answers the seat question: “For teams on annual Core plans, your first Travefy seat is $39 per month, and every additional seat is just $20 per month.” On Premium, the first seat is $59 and each added seat $39.
So five advisors on annual Core pay $39 x 12 = $468 plus $20 x 4 x 12 = $960, $1,428 a year.

- Core: $39/month, billed annually
- Premium: $59/month, billed annually, with phone support and onboarding
- Agency: adds commission and revenue reporting, through Contact Sales
Sources: Travefy pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Passport collection, card authorizations and e-signatures in CRM forms
- One-click commission entry from an invoice
- Flat $20 per added seat on annual Core
Cons
- No monthly price printed
- The Agency plan goes through Contact Sales
- No supplier-statement reconciliation listed
- Skip it if:
- you need supplier statements reconciled across advisors: Tern for Agencies covers it at $25 per seat a month billed annually.
3. TravelJoy: Best for Solo Advisors on a Budget

- Starting price: $19 a month on Starter
- Free plan or trial: 7-day trial, no card; 30-day money-back guarantee
- Standout feature: client payments and authorizations processed in the app
TravelJoy is built for the one-person travel business: CRM, itineraries, forms and client payments in one subscription, at the lowest entry price of the three advisor platforms here. Its trade-off is Starter’s ceiling of 12 trips a year with no automations, which a full-time advisor outgrows.
Payments set it apart from a general CRM, and TravelJoy’s pricing page prints the fees: 5% + 30c per card payment on Starter, 3.5% + 30c on Pro. Every card-paid trip costs less in fees on Pro.
Pro also adds AI and automations, group bookings and add-on team members.
Pro is $32 a month on the Annual view and $39 on Monthly, so a year of monthly billing costs $39 x 12 = $468 against $32 x 12 = $384.

- Starter: $19/mo, 12 trips a year
- Pro: $32/mo Annual, $39/mo Monthly, unlimited trips
Sources: TravelJoy pricing, TravelJoy homepage, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Unlimited clients, forms and invoices from Starter
- Card and ACH payments run inside the app
- 7-day trial without a card
Cons
- Starter: 12 trips a year, no automations
- No commission tracking on the pricing page
- Zapier and SMS only on Premium
- Skip it if:
- three or more advisors need commissions reconciled across the agency: Tern’s agency plans are built for that.
4. Zoho CRM: Best General CRM to Customize Into a Travel Workflow

- Starting price: Standard at US$14 per user a month, billed annually
- Free plan or trial: Free edition for 3 users
- Standout feature: custom modules on Standard
If someone on your team will build the travel side, Zoho CRM is the general CRM to choose. Custom modules on Standard can hold Trips and Passengers as their own records. You give up everything the advisor platforms ship ready-made, so the saving buys a setup project.
Standard adds multiple pipelines, so leisure trips and groups run on separate stages, and the Free edition already lists follow-up reminders, workflow automation and mobile apps. Enterprise adds field-level encryption and QuickBooks, which matter once passport data and invoices live in the CRM.
My Zoho CRM review covers each edition’s plan gates before you start building.
Five advisors on annual Standard pay $14 x 5 x 12 = $840 a year.

- Standard: US$14 billed annually, US$20 billed monthly, per user/month
- Enterprise: US$40 billed annually, US$50 billed monthly, per user/month, with QuickBooks
Sources: Zoho CRM pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Custom modules for trips and passengers on Standard
- Free for 3 users with follow-up reminders
- Multiple pipelines from Standard
Cons
- No itinerary builder or commission ledger
- QuickBooks waits for Enterprise
- Someone must build and maintain the modules
- Skip it if:
- nobody will build modules and workflows: Travefy and TravelJoy ship an itinerary builder and client forms with no module building.
5. HubSpot: Best Free CRM for a Two-Advisor Agency’s Marketing

- Starting price: Free; Starter from $7 per seat a month as a new-customer offer
- Free plan or trial: free for up to 2 users
- Standout feature: email marketing on the free plan
HubSpot fits a one- or two-advisor business that sells to past travelers by email. The free account covers 2 users, 1,000 contacts and 2,000 marketing email sends a month with HubSpot branding. It holds no travel records, so trips live as deals, and a third user forces paid seats.
Email marketing is the reason to pick it, but free email automation stops at 1 automated action. Sales Hub Starter includes up to 50 workflows with restricted triggers and actions, and up to 15 pipelines. It also includes 500 HubSpot Credits for AI features, and extra credits cost $0.010 each.
The plans above Starter are in my HubSpot pricing guide.
Starter’s $7 per seat a month is a limited-time offer for new customers, against a regular $20 on monthly or annual billing. Five seats at $20 cost $20 x 5 x 12 = $1,200 a year.

- Free: $0/mo, up to 2 users
- Starter: $7/mo/seat offer, $20/mo/seat regular
Sources: HubSpot CRM pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Email marketing on the free plan
- Free CRM connects to Gmail and Outlook
- Up to 50 workflows on Starter
Cons
- No travel objects: trips live as deals
- 1 automated email action on the free plan
- The $7 Starter price is a new-customer offer
- Skip it if:
- you have three advisors and want to stay free: Zoho CRM’s Free edition covers 3 users.
6. Kommo: Best for WhatsApp and Instagram Inquiries

- Starting price: Base at $25 per user a month on 6-month billing
- Standout feature: WhatsApp numbers and Instagram accounts included per plan
If clients ask about trips in a chat app, Kommo is built for that inbox. Base includes 1 WhatsApp number and 1 Instagram account, Advanced 3 of each plus pipeline automation, Pro unlimited channels and booking pages. The trade-off is commitment: Kommo offers no monthly billing.
Kommo connects to the official WhatsApp Business Platform and sends approved templates for follow-ups and reminders: deposit due, documents needed, departure soon. Bitrix24 also includes WhatsApp on its entry plan but bills per organization.
For more chat-first options, see my roundup of WhatsApp CRMs.
Advanced, the plan with pipeline automation, is $35 per user a month on the 6-month view and $29.17 on the 1-year view; the minimum term is 6 months.

- Base: $25 on 6 months, $20.84 on 1 year, per user/month
- Advanced: $35 on 6 months, $29.17 on 1 year
- Pro: $45 on 6 months, $37.50 on 1 year
Sources: Kommo pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- WhatsApp and Instagram channels from Base
- Approved WhatsApp templates for reminders
- Booking pages and scheduling links on Pro
Cons
- 6-month minimum term
- No pipeline automation on Base
- No itinerary or commission tools
- Skip it if:
- clients book by email and phone: Freshsales Growth puts chat, email and phone on one record for $9 per user a month billed annually.
7. monday CRM: Best for Visual Booking Boards With Quotes and Invoices

- Starting price: Basic at $12 per seat a month, billed yearly
- Standout feature: quotes and invoices included each month
monday CRM suits a team of three or more that plans work on boards and wants quotes in the same tool: Basic includes 20 quotes and invoices a month, Standard 50. The 3-user minimum rules out a solo advisor, and Basic’s 5 columns per board leave little room for trip fields.
For an agency that quotes every inquiry, the quote sits next to the deal instead of in a separate document tool. Standard is the realistic plan, because it adds the custom automations that send follow-ups.
My monday CRM review covers the rest of the platform.
A three-seat team on yearly Standard pays $17 x 3 x 12 = $612, paid up front for the year.

- Basic: $12 Yearly, $18 Monthly per seat/month
- Standard: $17 Yearly, $25 Monthly
Sources: monday CRM pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Proposals and invoices sit next to the deal
- Automated follow-ups on Standard
- Mobile apps for advisors on the road
Cons
- A solo advisor still pays for three seats
- Basic boards are tight for trip details
- A yearly plan is one upfront payment
- Skip it if:
- you work alone: TravelJoy is built for one advisor.
8. Pipedrive: Best for Group and Corporate Travel Sales Pipelines

- Starting price: Lite at US$14 per seat a month, billed annually
- Free plan or trial: 14-day trial, no card
- Integrations: 500+
Pipedrive earns its place for agencies that sell group and corporate travel, where one deal takes weeks of follow-ups across several contacts. It holds no travel records, so itineraries and commissions stay in another tool.
Growth’s automations and nurturing sequences keep a corporate retreat quote moving, and Premium adds contracts and e-signatures for signed group deposits. Pipedrive lists 500+ integrations, so check that your itinerary tool is among them.
My Pipedrive review covers the plan limits in depth.

Growth costs US$24 per seat a month billed annually, one payment of US$288 per seat a year, or US$34 billed monthly.
- Lite: US$14 billed annually, US$19 billed monthly, per seat/month
- Premium: US$49 billed annually, US$64 billed monthly, with contracts
Sources: Pipedrive pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Email and follow-up automation from Growth
- Contracts and e-signatures on Premium
- 500+ integrations
Cons
- No travel records
- No follow-up automation on Lite
- Contracts wait for Premium
- Skip it if:
- most sales are individual leisure trips that need itineraries and card authorizations: Travefy Core covers those.
9. Freshsales: Best for Phone-Heavy Agencies on a Low Per-Seat Price

- Starting price: Growth at $9 per user a month, billed annually
- Standout feature: chat, email and phone on Growth
Phone-first agencies get the most from Freshsales: Growth puts chat, email and phone on the contact record, with basic workflows for follow-ups. The trade-off is paperwork, because branded quote documents are a paid add-on.
Pipedrive puts follow-up automation on Growth at US$24 per seat a month billed annually, against $9 here. The catch for proposal-heavy agencies is the add-on, which takes Growth to $9 + $19 = $28 per user a month.
My Freshsales review walks through each plan.
Ten advisors on annual Growth pay $9 x 10 x 12 = $1,080 a year before any add-on.

- Growth: $9 billed annually, $11 billed monthly, per user/month
- Pro: $39 billed annually, $47 billed monthly, with sales sequences
Sources: Freshsales pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Phone on the entry plan
- Basic workflows for follow-ups
- 21-day trial with the full CRM
Cons
- Branded documents cost extra
- Sales sequences start on Pro
- Custom modules only on Enterprise
- Skip it if:
- you want custom trip records, which Freshsales keeps for Enterprise: Zoho CRM puts custom modules on Standard.
10. Bitrix24: Best Flat Price for a Whole Agency Team

- Starting price: Basic at US$49 per organization a month, billed annually, 5 users
- Free plan or trial: free for 1-2 users
- Standout feature: WhatsApp integration and online payments on Basic
Bitrix24 charges per organization, not per advisor, which changes the economics as a team grows. Basic covers 5 users with sales pipelines, online payments and WhatsApp integration. The trade-off is plan gates: invoices and e-signature wait for Standard, booking and sales automation for Professional.
Five advisors on Basic pay US$49 a month billed annually, while five on Zoho CRM Standard pay $14 x 5 = $70 a month. Standard adds invoices, estimates and a web form designer.
My Bitrix24 review covers each plan’s limits.
Any team of up to 50 users on annual Standard pays $99 x 12 = $1,188 a year.

- Basic: US$49 billed annually, US$69 billed monthly, per organization/month, 5 users
- Standard: US$99 billed annually, US$144 billed monthly, 50 users
- Professional: US$199 billed annually, US$289 billed monthly, 100 users
Sources: Bitrix24 pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- One price per organization
- WhatsApp and online payments on Basic
- Free for 1-2 users
Cons
- Booking only on Professional
- No invoices on Basic
- No itinerary or commission tools
- Skip it if:
- you are one or two advisors who need itineraries more than a business suite: TravelJoy fits that job.
11. Salesforce Sales Cloud: Best for Large Agencies That Need a Custom Build

- Starting price: Starter Suite at $25 per user a month, billed monthly or annually
- Standout feature: quoting and forecasting on Pro Suite
Salesforce suits a larger agency or tour operator with an admin to build its travel records. Pro Suite, sold with greater customization and automation, is also where sales quoting starts.
Starter Suite’s lead routing sends each inquiry to the right desk of a tour operator with several sales reps. Zoho CRM puts custom modules on a US$14 Standard seat, so Pro Suite pays off only when you also need its quoting and forecasting.
My Salesforce review helps you pick an edition before a sales call.
Pro Suite is $100 per user a month billed annually, so ten users with quoting pay $100 x 10 x 12 = $12,000 a year.

- Starter Suite: $25/user/month, billed monthly or annually
- Pro Suite: $100/user/month, billed annually
Sources: Salesforce Sales Cloud pricing, checked October 2026.
Pros
- Lead routing and sales flows on Starter Suite
- Quoting and forecasting on Pro Suite
- Starter Suite costs the same billed monthly or annually
Cons
- Quoting needs Pro Suite
- No travel objects: you build them
- Pro Suite and above bill annually
- Skip it if:
- no one can configure it: Zoho CRM Standard gives custom modules at US$14 per user a month billed annually.
What a Travel Agency CRM Costs by Team Size
A solo advisor pays from $0 on HubSpot Free to $17 x 3 x 12 = $612 on monday CRM’s 3-user minimum. A ten-advisor agency pays from $9 x 10 x 12 = $1,080 on Freshsales Growth to $29.17 x 10 x 12 = $3,500.40 on Kommo Advanced.
| CRM and plan | One advisor | Five advisors | Ten advisors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tern (Advisors plan solo, Agencies plan for five and ten) | $35 x 12 = $420 | $25 x 5 x 12 = $1,500 | $25 x 10 x 12 = $3,000 |
| Travefy Core ($20 per added seat) | $39 x 12 = $468 | $39 x 12 = $468 plus four added seats, $20 x 4 x 12 = $960, total $1,428 | $39 x 12 = $468 plus nine added seats, $20 x 9 x 12 = $2,160, total $2,628 |
| TravelJoy Pro (team seats are an add-on) | $32 x 12 = $384 | Add-on, no listed price | Add-on, no listed price |
| Zoho CRM Standard | $14 x 12 = $168 | $14 x 5 x 12 = $840 | $14 x 10 x 12 = $1,680 |
| HubSpot (Free, then Starter at $20) | $0 on Free | $20 x 5 x 12 = $1,200 | $20 x 10 x 12 = $2,400 |
| Kommo Advanced (1-year view) | $29.17 x 12 = $350.04 | $29.17 x 5 x 12 = $1,750.20 | $29.17 x 10 x 12 = $3,500.40 |
| monday CRM Standard (3-user minimum) | $17 x 3 x 12 = $612 | $17 x 5 x 12 = $1,020 | $17 x 10 x 12 = $2,040 |
| Pipedrive Growth | $24 x 12 = $288 | $24 x 5 x 12 = $1,440 | $24 x 10 x 12 = $2,880 |

| Bitrix24 (Basic; Standard for ten) | $49 x 12 = $588 | $49 x 12 = $588 | $99 x 12 = $1,188 |
| Salesforce Starter Suite (quoting needs Pro Suite) | $25 x 12 = $300 | $25 x 5 x 12 = $1,500 | $25 x 10 x 12 = $3,000 |
Sources: pricing pages of Tern, Travefy, TravelJoy, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Kommo, monday CRM, Pipedrive, Freshsales, Bitrix24 and Salesforce, checked October 2026. Card fees, add-ons and taxes are excluded.
At five and ten advisors, Travefy Core’s $20 added seat keeps its yearly bill below Tern for Agencies. Tern’s higher seat price buys commission reconciliation and agency-wide reporting, while Travefy lists Commission & Revenue Reporting and Monthly Agency Insights & Reporting on its Contact Sales Agency plan.
Freshsales Growth is the cheapest here at ten advisors but holds no trip records, and Bitrix24 Basic costs the same for one advisor or five.
How to Choose a Travel Agency CRM
Match your situation to a pick, then check the trade-off.
| Your situation | CRM to consider | Why | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo, a dozen trips a year or fewer | TravelJoy Starter | Forms, invoices and payments in one app | No automations |
| 3+ advisors, commissions to reconcile | Tern for Agencies | Reconciliation and agency-wide reporting | Per-seat bill |
| Itineraries win the sale | Travefy Core | Itinerary builder tied to CRM forms | Commission entry per invoice |
| You will design trip records | Zoho CRM Standard | Custom modules and multiple pipelines | Setup work |
| Inquiries arrive on WhatsApp | Kommo Advanced | Channels plus pipeline automation | 6-month minimum term |
| Group and corporate deals | Pipedrive Growth | Email and follow-up automation | No travel records |

If travel-specific tools are not what decides it, my ranking of the best CRM software overall compares general CRMs on wider criteria.
Also Considered
- ClientBase / TRES, a cloud back-office platform with connections to GDSs and booking solutions; the TRES homepage leads with a demo request instead of public plans.
- GoldenLion Travel Agency CRM, a travel data model (trips, passengers, fixed departures) that the GoldenLion page says works on Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition, so it sits on top of my Zoho CRM pick.
- Bigin by Zoho, a pipeline CRM with Stripe and PayPal payment collection; its feature list does not include custom modules, so Zoho CRM Standard ranks instead.
FAQ
What is a CRM in a travel agency?
A travel agency CRM is the system that holds your clients, their travelers and their trips, and drives follow-ups from inquiry to return. Advisor platforms add itineraries and payments to that record, and Tern and Travefy track commissions too. For the general concept, see my explainer on what CRM software is.
Is there a free CRM for travel agents?
Yes, among the general CRMs: Zoho CRM is free for 3 users, HubSpot for up to 2 and Bitrix24 for 1-2. None of the three advisor platforms here has a free plan; TravelJoy offers a 7-day trial, Travefy 10 days and Tern a free trial.
Final Verdict
Pick by job. TravelJoy fits a solo budget (Starter, then Pro past 12 trips a year), and Tern for Agencies reconciles supplier commissions.
Travefy Core fits when itineraries sell the trip, and Zoho CRM Standard when you will build your own travel model. For WhatsApp inquiries take Kommo Advanced; for group and corporate deals, Pipedrive Growth.
Whichever two you shortlist, rebuild one real past trip in both trials before you pay. The one that holds the client, travelers, payment and commission without a spreadsheet beside it is your CRM.
