Ultra’s discount is narrower than the headline suggests. It halves Veo Lite and Veo Fast, leaves Veo Quality at 100 credits, and does not touch Gemini Omni Flash at all.

Anyone planning to absorb a busy month by buying credits instead of upgrading needs to know that Google’s own pages disagree about who can do it.

Each upgrade in that grid has one condition behind it, and none of them is a general wish for more features.
Move from free to Plus when custom Tool creation or 1080p upscaling is needed and monthly video volume stays low, because 200 monthly credits fund ten Veo Fast generations before anything else is spent.
Move from Plus to Pro when regular production makes 200 monthly credits run out mid-month, or when a verified top-up route matters enough that the Plus contradiction becomes a risk.
